After looking long and hard at an alternative tour options following an unexpected price increase on our original Ghent tour, the tour company and I have come up with a very keenly priced and flexible couple of options

Weekend of April 12th 2019

Option 1) BRISTOL : arrive Friday evening (£170) checking into hotel for 2 nights with breakfast included, playing a local team Saturday lunchtime and then watching Bristol Bears v Saracens in the afternoon , free time in Bristol Saturday evening then departing Sunday morning and playing another team on the way home. A ONE night (Saturday) option is available for £125 pp, arriving at playing ground for tour match then onto Bristol Bears before checking into hotel. BOTH options are available – you choose which you’d prefer.

Option 2) EXETER: arrive Friday evening (£155) checking into hotel for 2 nights with breakfast included, playing a local team Saturday lunchtime and then watching Exeter v Wasps in the afternoon, free time in Exeter Saturday evening then departing Sunday morning and playing another team on the way home. A ONE night (Saturday) option is available for £120pp, arriving at playing ground for tour match then onto Exeter match before checking into hotel. BOTH options are available – you choose which you’d prefer.

U16 teams are more locally based and plentiful in BRISTOL but teams not too far from Exeter are available .

We will make our own travel arrangements, possibly hirer a minibus @ an addition cost of approx £15 per person.

A coach could be arranged for the whole weekend for an extra £40-£50 per person. I think the minibus option would be ideal

So to summarise ….. 1 night (Saturday) inc minibus travel FROM £135pp or 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) inc minibus travel FROM £170

Those already paid £50 deposit would only need to find an additional £85-120 or £90- £135 . I have some funds raised already which will cover SOME of the PLAYERS costs. Dependant on how many tour, maybe the majority of PLAYERS costs ??

This being the case , 2 nights would be MY PREFERRED OPTION and as I’m likely to be driving the minibus it may have to be yours unless you are making your own way

It may be if enough interest for 1 AND 2 night options a minibus could leave each day, both Friday and Saturday if logistics allowed . This will take some organising and YOUR cooperation will be required please.

If ANYONE has read this far please let me know YOUR preferred option and that of your son please ASAP, you may need to show him this as many PLAYERS are not on here or nor do they read it

DONT FORGET:

This Sunday Milbrook AWAY, departing Bognor RFC at 9:30am for a 10:30 meet at Milbrook for an 11:30 ko.

2 min silence will be observed at 11am.
