With a few missing we docked in
Portsmouth ready for battle . Portsmouth set sail upon us unleashing their fleet and full arsenal ! We got peddling our peddlos but to no real effect, the waves were too strong to get over and at times looked like we was enjoying watching the match ?

However are exchanging (Dru) cannon fire and tries being scored by both sides we began to look and realise that we had a game on and if we peddled a bit faster we’d win the war !

Words and strategic changes at half time saw the tide turn and we started to control and go forward ! Portsmouth began to show their frustration and the game was in our hands ! They needed a converted try to draw in the dying minutes which was always a big ask against our then formidable defences , that said they grabbed a try out wide but were unable to convert.
Defiantly a game of 2 halves !! We were a different team for the second 30-40 mins !

Final score 22-24 win for Bognor.

Forwards in rucks. Got to work hard and work out if you’re needed then push players out wide if they’re not needed in there. Listen to the 9 or 10 for instructions .
