Great Rugby today lads. Couldn’t ask any more of you , showed guts determination and plenty of “spirit”. The Rugby was superb against a very well drilled team.

Got to get on top of your discipline !! I know it was a heated game and emotions were high BUT playing a team like Winchester with 13 men only makes life difficult for yourselves . Maybe watching the 1st XV yesterday wasn’t the best idea after all ! 😉

Penalties were relatively low but we gave them away at crucially wrong times .

We moved the ball really well and forwards worked really hard and produced a great team effort . Well done – very proud of you all !

Sorry I couldn’t get everyone on today and some of you didn’t as much game time as we’d like but as you appreciate it was very tight and tough out there. Thank you all for being there.

ALL the forwards , thank you for the shift you put in, helped ball distribution massively getting Ollie clean ball. Great carries and rucking . Great tackling and Maulling superbly ! Phil’s hard Work with you is paying off !

Backs ; Elvis – great distribution and decision making , few lovely kicks and on another day would’ve given us try’s, more big hits too, try keeping some of them lower ! Jacob and James fantastic going forward and James’ 1 from 3 conversions was enough to win us the game ! ALL Wingers , fast, efficient and great in defence. Ewan returning stronger than ever and superb until an unfortunate incident has earned him a little respite 🙄.

Owen is fine but will take a well earned rest.

Well done all, see you Tuesday and training next Sunday ahead of Jersey on the 28th (a win against them will pretty much decide the league !)
